From the August Vegan Cuts Beauty Box
Before we get into the product hype, let’s talk about the label: all natural body scrub. I’ve talked before about how all natural doesn’t seem to mean what some brands think it means. The detoxfoliant has two different salts, shea butter and some essential oils, including lavender and vanilla, of course. A few of the ingredients aren’t organic, so some of you may disagree, but on the whole I would agree this is all natural.
Kaeng Raeng hypes this “exfoliates impurities and replenishes your skin, leaving a silky smooth finish”. The salts were a little too small to exfoliate well for me, but my skin did feel nicely moisturized. Also, it gets kind of well, soupy, for lack of a better word, after a few weeks. The salt kind of dissolves and becomes less scrubby. It still smells quite nice.
Speaking of the smell, this has a strong scent. It is a very nice lavender vanilla scent that kind of screams fancy spa. If you like scented products, I would recommend trying this, for the nice, calming smell if nothing else.
A note about the brand: Kaeng Raeng is cruelty free and vegan.
