Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques pressed shadow in Morning Dew

From the May Vegan Cuts Beauty Box

Their pressed shadows normally come in duos; this was an exclusive for the Vegan Cuts box.  I’ll still be reviewing, since Morning Dew is offered in the duos.  Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques hypes “our pressed colors are richly pigmented, go on silky smooth & blend easily and beautifully for all-day wear”.

They are very pigmented, more than most pressed shadows.  Be careful, or you’ll end up with way more green (yes, that’s a dark green) than you wanted.  The good news is that it also lives up the hype of blending easily and going on smoothly, so it’s relatively easy to fix most over-application mistakes.

This doesn’t quite live up to the hype on all-day wear.  This fades a lot on smoky eye and all-over looks.  It doesn’t seem to fade as much when it’s not the main color.  Well, maybe it’s not as noticeable.  I actually really liked this eye shadow and was able to create some awesome looks using it with a lot of other colors.

  1. I like to use this to line my lower lashes 🙂 I agree that the staying power isn’t great but with a setting spray and a liner brush it will stay put!
