Be prepared for an onslaught of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics posts in the next few weeks. I came into a little extra cash and bought everything I’ve been wanting to try for the last six months, including the crème colour in multiple shades. The (official) hype on the crème colour, “Concentrate goes on smoothly and wears like a dream”. I tried this as a base under one of their loose colors and it looked fabulous.
OCC says the crème colours can be used on eyes, lips and cheeks. I haven’t tried it on my lips or cheeks, yet. The loose color went on well over the crème. However, I really should have used primer under the crème instead of attempting to use it as the primer. Got into my creases a little, but smoothed out easily.
The color, Pleasure Model, is pretty and versatile. It should have no problem tripling as an eye, cheek and lip color, at least on my melanin-deficient skin. Your mileage may vary. The website makes it look like it has more of a lavender tint to it, so don’t be turned off. The description of a pearlescent light pink is spot on. I know it looks a little pricey, but as with everything in the OCC line, a little goes a really, really long way.
